Had a great time at both the Grand Mosque and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi, both lived up to expectations and are worth a visit. Lunch was in the Yas Mall at the Texas Roadhouse which again was ok. Main issue is with the Tour operator Gray Line - Kurban Tours. The coach was old and quite dilapidated although the air-con did work. The driver was erratic and I feel we did not have a comfortable or safe journey. He was setting off before everyone had even got into a seat; motorway driving was lot of acceleration until the next speed camera and then braking, very concerning. The tour guide was friendly but seemed harassed by a group from Portugal who had no sense of time keeping and repeatedly put us behind ‘schedule’ which only gave us just over an hour in the Museum !!!! Overall it was ‘ok’ but couldn’t really recommend.

I was amazed at how clean the mosque was! I love Abu Dhabi because everything is not normal. And I was surprised to see that it had been thoroughly cleaned, and that everywhere was clean without dust.

Leaving a 5-star review not just for the tour itself, which was spectacular, but as a result of our tour guide, Ahmed Mohamed. He ensured that everyone was taken care of at all times. He is a thoughtful, conscientious, professional and was very clear in managing time and expectations. He is friendly, easy-going, but also completely on top of it! Ensuring that we seamlessly had everything that we needed at all times!!! Thank you Ahmed!!
