    THE WORLDWIDE FAMOUS CLIFF DIVERS SHOW. It has been handed down from generation to generation. The show is quite insane and is as raw as it gets, are no nets or ropes. Wearing just a speedo bathing suit, to get to the top, the divers must scale the steep rocks up 135 feet with their bare hands using only their ability, without any basic climbing equipment or protection. Once up on the cliff, all together will be ready to jump and leaping. But it is not like jumping from a diving board pool! Once they are ready from the top of the "mountain" they taking off into the narrow ravine, where down there is only sharp rocks but the channel without the depth of a pool! Thats not all! They have to jump in exact time once the wave comes and water gets deeper.

One of the reasons I booked this tour was because we would have a great view of the cliff divers from the Hotel Mirador balcony. Unfortunately, we were not taken to the Mirador and instead, our view of the divers was from a hilltop area so far away that we could barely see the divers. That was a huge disappointment because the cliff divers are one of the things Acapulco is famous for and we were excited to see them. We had heard such great things about Sabastian and thought he was going to be our tour guide, but we had someone else. Lunch was OK and the view of the Diego Rivera mosaics was a slow drive by for pictures and we did not get out of the van for pictures. Other than that, it was an enjoyable tour. There were 8 in our group and we thought it was a private tour for us, but another 4 joined us. Our tour was on March 7, 2023 and we were from the cruise ship.

The tour of Acapulco was great. Got to see things we would not have known about or how to get to. I especially liked the Diego Rivera mosaic as a love letter to his mistress. Very cool. Sebastian was a very good guide, told us background of things we would not otherwise have known. Highly recommend.

It was a delightful day in Acapulco with Sebastian! We never felt unsafe and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The cliff divers were fantastic! Lunch was delicious and we saw beautiful & interesting sites. And the water, beer, and tequila were great! Would highly recommend this tour!
