Visiting Ghana was a “bullet list” trip for me! It was surreal when I finally stepped foot on West African soil! The tour guide, Emmanuel Gozey, assisted us in having an authentic welcoming experience wherever we went! Profoundly impactful was Assin Manso, the Cape Coast Castle slave dungeons and Door of No Return and Elmina Castle, slave dungeons and Door of No Return! PANAFEST! The Fadinkra Ceremony at Elmina, then the Naming Ceremony and meeting the King will forever be remembered and in my heart!! I am still here because of the sacrifices and resilience of the ancestors!! I have returned by the Grace of God! Thank you for all the tour guides, the accommodations and welcoming return! Thank you Continent Tours and Joy Cruises and Tours, Inc for coordinating such an amazing experience!!

This was our first visit to Ghana. What a most humbling forever etched in our hearts experience. This thought provoking and informative trip had so many things to experience with a variety of emotions tied to each of them. And, needless to say, Elvis made each one memorable.
