Nias Travel coordinated people from various states into a tour group of 17. Nicole Gaskin-Laniyan did a fantastic job, along with Isaac, our phenomenal tour guide! Besides having my father's & brother's names, which warmed my heart, his high level of professional knowledge of his country made this vacay an actual pilgrimage to the Motherland. Hans, our adept bus driver, safely navigated us through the urban streets & country roads. Elvis provided a unique level of protection from the swarms of vendors as well as shopping safeguards. The information imparted to us was priceless, as was the countless new experiences. My new African name and Kente stole with the "Change Forever" Adinkra symbols are indeed true...
