Shai Hills reserved is the closest Eco friendly hike location in Accra and it is best for those who loves the nature. Popular activities include game viewing, bird watching, nature walking, and rock climbing. For those who cannot walk or hike very much, there is an option to use a car and drive across the locations along the safari area.     The Shai Hills Resource Reserve is the closest wildlife sanctuary to Accra. See baboons, birds, butterflies, antelope, ostrich, zebras and bat caves. Hiking and driving routes of various lengths are available, as well as rock scrambling. Beautiful view of the Accra plains from atop the hills. there are nearly dozens of primary animal species including Ostriches, antelopes, bats, birds (such as violet Turaco, Paradise Flycatcher, Green Turaco Red-billed Hornbill, Yellow-fronted Tinkerbird, and Red-necked Buzzard), baboons, cats, duiker, guinea fowls, Kobs, green monkeys, monitor lizards, and zebras....while hiking, you meet some of them..

I have been to Ghana many times and Kwame has always been a travaler partner since 2018. One of the things I like to go with him it is his knowledge about differents things and his vast energy to get things done give me more energy to keep contacting him anytime. Shai Hill is a nice place to visit and the only Safari area to go in Accra. I have a half day tour to thois location with @kwametours This trip let me left the busy chedules of Accra to this fresh location to hike and see different animals like zebra, butterflies, birds, monkeys, ostriches, antelopes, bats and most importantly the baboons who are all over the place. One more time, thank you Kwame for the incredible day we spent there ans see you soon! :)
