Our guide, Joseph, was outstanding — very knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about nature and wildlife. He explained everything in detail and made sure we never missed any important sightings. Our driver, Niko, was equally excellent: safe, professional, and experienced, which made traveling through the park and surrounding areas very comfortable.The nature in Bale Mountains is simply stunning. The landscapes are cool, fresh, and incredibly diverse, from alpine meadows to vast plateaus. Thanks to the careful planning and expertise of the team, I was lucky enough to see Mountain Nyala, ibex, antelope, and the rare Ethiopian Wolf, which was a true highlight of the trip.Originally, I was considering visiting Simien Mountains National Park, but due to safety concerns, Aman Ethiopia Tours professionally advised me to choose Bale Mountains instead. It turned out to be the perfect decision — safe, peaceful, and incredibly rewarding.

Nous sommes partis d'Addis-Abeba et avons pris un Land Cruiser pour Jimma, où notre guide, Shahsa, et notre chauffeur, Niko, nous attendaient. Tous deux étaient aimables et attentionnés, et ont même pris contact avec nous une semaine avant le départ pour s'assurer que tout était en ordre.
Notre itinéraire était un circuit photo de 7 jours incluant Jimma, Kaffa et Suri. Nous avons pu observer une grande variété d'oiseaux et visiter des plantations de café. Shahsa nous a partagé de nombreuses informations intéressantes, non seulement sur les tribus et la faune, mais aussi sur la culture des tribus Suri. Il était extrêmement compétent et très sympathique.
