We arrived at Addis Ababa after spending some time in other African countries. My wife became injured and could barely walk. Being in Addis, we decided that it would be a waste if we didn't at least take a tour so we inquired at the front desk of our hotel. In the lobby we noticed a display for East Africa Tour Company. We decided to try them. I was given Beki's phone number and he immediately responded. Seeing our situation, he immediately adjusted the tour and away we went. He had his driver Destaw with him in a beautiful van and took care of my wife with great kindness and heart. We couldn't have found a more knowledgeable, community connected, and understanding people taking us on an adventure. We visited the top of the mountain in Addis where we visited an older lady who made injera bread from her home. It was so authentic, going into community! We loved it! Then we visited key points in Addis where its history came so alive through the guidance of Beki. Finally we visited the market where I was able to purchase some spice. If you book your tour with East Africa you will have a rich, well planned, well taken care of tour by caring guides. Beki, you are the best!

Fantastic! This was really the best way of getting to know Addis! I've been here once before, but never had the chance to get around much then. Now I enjoyed a full day together with my best friend in the safe hands of guide Beki and driver Yesiah. Beki was from the beginning already when we booked the tour very keen on meeting our wishes and very flexible during the whole experience. We started at St George church to learn about the exciting history of Ehtiopia, stopped by a huge and friendly pottery workshop (make room in your suitcase!), continued to huzzling Merkato market (watch out for pickpockets!) and also had the time to do some very nice shopping at a clothes market before we ended up with delicious italian coffe at the old Grand Central. Once again: thanks a million to Beki with driver. You really did our great day in Addis!
