This is probably one of the best museums to visit in Dublin. It’s concentrates on the history of the Irish abroad and the influence Irish culture has had on other countries. It looks at the arts, literature, music, sports, and politics as well as the influence of Irish drink which should come as no surprise to anyone. It is split into the different sections with you moving steadily through each one stamping a passport to show you have been to each section. In all they were approximately 20 sections each one with informative displays and and sometimes interactive activities. The staff were helpful knowledgeable. even though the museum is below floor level it is fully wheelchair accessible due to having lift access.. A must visit for anyone with an interest in Irish genealogy, especially especially those from the new world. .
