What a fascinating museum this is. I highly recommend it . An in-depth exploration of the massive immigration out of Ireland. If you have ancestors who left, you will find this a moving experience. The museum is beautifully arranged, very visual and interactive. Worth a good two hours. The only sour note was the rude and abrupt receptionist at the genealogy center. She was such a mean spirited contrast to our experiences it was kind of surprising. I’d skip the genealogy department in case you are forced to interact with this lady whose phone calls take precedence. It would be cheaper and more productive to use an online genealogy provider like Ancestry and DNA. Other that that experience , I highly recommend this museum.
