The fabulous Villa Vizcaya in Miami is a National Historic Landmark that provides a window into the elegant Miami of the early 20th century, when Vizcaya was a private estate. Villa Vizcaya was once the winter residence of industrialist James Deering and was designed as a palatial Italian Villa on tropical Biscayne Bay. He filled it with European art, state of the art technology and surrounded it with beautiful gardens that will transport you back to a golden age 100 years ago.

Viator never sent me an email with our tickets. We were denied admission after paying over $266 and it took Viator over 30 minutes to resolve the issue. Everyone was in a bad mood. We stood in the hot sun with a toddler for over a half an hour.

We love very comfortable ride to and from the Vizcaya We have enjoyed strolling though the intricate passages of the opulent gardens, paired with the exploring of the sophisticated interiors of the villa. It was a Truly great Day♥️

Pick up at hotel was early and late after our visit but communications was excellent. Interesting house beautiful gardens
