Sicily and The Godfather are inseparable connected. Francis Ford Coppola's film was partly shot in Sicily. Of course we wanted to see the places where the scenes for this famous movie were taken and so we booked the Godfather Tour with Giovanni. We were picked up at the agreed time and full of expectations we started this Tour. We had a short stop in Giardini Naxos, where we enjoyed a cup of coffee and the beautiful beach. We continued the journey to Forza Agrò, where, among other things, the scene near the church was shot in which the young Vito is smuggled out of the village in a donkey's bag. We were given plenty of time to walk around and see everything we wanted. Then we drove on to Savoca with the famous Bar Vitelli, where in the movie Michael is sitting outside on the terrace with 2 friends. Very special to be able to have lunch and to enjoy ourselves in this same place, where nothing has changed (even the fly curtain is still the same). Also here enough time to walk around and visit the church, where Michael and his Apollonia were married. It was a very special day that we will never forget. Giovanni has a comfortable minibus and is a great driver, which gives a very safe feeling. Nice that there was water on board, because it was a very hot, thirsty day and we ran out of our own water. Giovanni is professional, reliable and very sympathetic, a great guy. Bravissimo! Definitely recommended for transfers and tours!
