Hathee Singh Jain Temple, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India This elegant temple created out of white marble was built in 1848 A.D. by a rich merchant Sheth Hutheesing as a dedication to the 15th Jain Tirthankar, Shri Dharmanatha. Located outside the Delhi Gate, the temple is spread over a sprawling courtyard, with a mandapa surmounted by a large ridged dome supported by 12 ornate pillars. The small garbhagriha (main shrine) on the east end reaches up into three stunningly carved spires and is encircled by 52 small shrines dedicated to the various Tirthankars. 30 minutes
Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India The Sidi Saiyyed mosque built in 1573, is the last of the major mosques to be built in Ahmedabad under the Mughal rule. The carved jaalis in the windows of the western wall of the mosque are known worldwide and have become a symbol of the city of Ahmedabad. The carvings look like fine lace filigree work, but are hewn from solid stone. The craftsmanship of this mosque places it on a level nearly unequaled in the world. 30 minutes
Swaminarayan Akshardham, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India A specimen of fine craftsmanship, the Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar is one of the largest and most prominent temples in the State. Established in the year 1992, it is a cultural complex with an intricately carved pink sandstone temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan and 3 exhibition galleries. The highlight of the temple is the seven feet tall gold plated idol of Lord Swaminarayan, the chief deity shown in a sitting posture with his right hand raised in ‘abhay mudra’. Within the complex of Akshardham, is a beautiful garden known as Sahajanand Van. It encompasses a herbal garden, lake and a waterfall.

Kite Museum, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Situated in Ahmedabad, Kite Museum is a prime tourist attraction of Gujarat. The museum is a part of Sanskar Kendra, which was formed in 1954 as the cultural centre of Ahmedabad. Like its exhibits, building of the museum is also a head-turner as it was designed by the renowned architect Le Corbusier himself in 1954. The concept of the kite museum was initiated by Bhanu Shah when he donated all his kite collection to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The kite collection gradually grew in range and today all those kites are showcased in the museum accompanied with interesting illustrations and photographs. 30 minutes

Raj was wonderful! I highly recommend him! We saw a number of cultural sites and he was super knowledgeable! He clearly wanted to make sure we had a great time and learned a lot! This is a must do adventure during your stay!

This tour is all you need to view in ahmedabad. It covers some beautiful hindu and jain temples and akshardham and many more places to see in and around here.
