Choose Balkans never disappoints. They customized yet another trip for me to pick me up in the South to explore this amazing city. The guide I had was incredibly knowledgeable and this historical city. The day was fantastic, a smooth ride from Vlore to Gjirokaster...spent the day wondering the winding streets on the hillside, explored a 300 year old Ottoman house, the castle and enjoyed some delicious authentic lunch in the bazaar. On the trip back to Vlore, we stopped to get fresh water from the mountain side run off and pick up some local mountain tea. Such an epic day. One additional note..not really tour related but noteworthy. The tour guide was SUCH a nice guy. Just a great day spent with a solidly nice guy.

Na eerdere goede ervaringen met Choose Balkans besloot ik om nog een stad te verkennen. Gjirokastra stond hoog op m'n lijst en het is een bijzondere stad. Het was erg rustig en we hadden genoeg tijd om alles te zien. Vooral de bazaar vond ik leuk en de traditionele rijstballen waren erg lekker! De tour was weer goed geregeld en de gids was top.
