  • Kapllan Pasha’s Tomb, Tirana, Albania
    Eyesight Kapllan Pasha Tomb. It is a Cultural Monument of the first category and was so declared by the government of Albania in 1948. It was built in the early 19th century, with carved stones and has an octagonal shape. The columns are made of stone, and placed also on stone bases and capitals with plant decor on the surface. The former ruler of Tirana was interned here in the 19th century, but was later repatriated back to Istanbul, Turkey.

If you like history, culture, family and you want to improve your knowledge of the world do this tour with Albiona. I grew up in a Pan American Airlines family, my dad ran airports all over the world. I've traveled the world all my life. Albiona has a passion to put her country in your future, take her up on it. She introduces you to Tirana. It's a vibrant city with a very interesting history. She will show you a very unique view of the city and a great historical understanding of Albania. Tirana is lucky to have such a great ambassador. Do it!

Without giving away any surprises, Albiona was brilliant and so knowledgeable. I'm fairly well read but some of the things Albiona showed us was incredible. Only when Albiona pointed things did you even see them - id previously walked past them without eveb registerijg their existence/importance. Can't recommend highly enough!! Tour took about 3 hours, decent bit of walking required but other than crossing the roads, no need to be a speed walker. Would potentially recommend going at the start of your visit as Albiona knows some good places to eat too!
