    After leaving Tirana city we will drive of road to reach the starting point of the hike towards Bovilla Lake. We start our hiking adventure towards the beautiful area of Bovilla Lake near Tirana. The cliff faces around the canyon and the dam offer good hiking path with a beautiful view. This destination offers an amazing view of wild mountains mixed with the green colour of the lake, creating a spectacular hiking and (a little bit of) rock climbing experience to the rock on top of the Bovilla track.

    You will see in the west the mountains of Gamti and Brari, as well as the mountain of Dajti in the southeast. The hike to the top of Mount Gamti takes about 3 hours one way, elevation up to 1.2 KM. From any height of the lakeside mountains, you can enjoy the spectacular view of the landscape. Have some free time to rest and enjoy the gorgeous view.

Amazing hike with the best tour guides, gave us a lot of information regarding the history of Albania and gave us a lot of good recommendations in town as well. Would recommend this tour to anyone heading to Albania.

Great views, lovely food at the restaurant and AWESOME tour guide (Erik)! Definitely give this a go if you want to see the beautiful Albanian countryside and learn a bit about its culture.
