Very good tour, it gave us a lot of context on Albanian history and things to do in Tirane. Our guide was very knowledgeable on Tirane and answered all of our questions.

I booked two tours with Tirana Free Tours: their free walking tour and a private tour. I coordinated both with Ariola who was very responsive and helpful. The free walking tour lasted about two hours and provided an excellent overview of the city. We had a group of 7 which worked out very well- no problem hearing the guide or asking questions. The tour ends across the street from the House of Leaves Museum which is helpful as the museum is great. Aurora was our guide and she was excellent. Our private, customized day tour was the next day and included Kruja Castle, Bunk Art 1 and the Mount Dejti cable car. Gjenc was our guide and driver. He was also excellent. He did a great job of showing us the sights and also gave us a great education about life in Albania and its history, Tirana Free Tours offers a variety of tours besides the free walking tour and I suspect that they are all very good. Unlike most tour companies, the guides work exclusively for them. I think this provides them with a huge advantage. My wife and I were quite impressed and highly recommend them.
