Rafting in Osumi Canyons Albania Adventure Berat

I had booked rafting which was changed to river hike/canyon exploration. It was super cool even though it wasn't what was ordered. I would say, however, that there is a lack of better communication. We didn't really know what was going to happen and where we were going and the like. In addition, we were told by the guides that we should not take our phones on the trip for photos as they would take and share with everyone for free. However, we were not informed about how we would receive the photos and as two days had passed and we had still not received the photos I tried to contact them myself. I tried for over a week to get the pictures and wrote with three different employees, but ended up not getting the pictures as they took responsibility and found+sended them. I think that's really regrettable.

Thanks for this great osum canyoning tour. We enjoyed it very much and our guide Alti was exzellent. We recomend albania adventure park!

1. My family was split between three different rafts eventhough we bought the tickets together. The guide said look there is nothing we can do. So our group of 4 was split into three rafts. Which brings me to the next point. 2. The rafts were overfilled over the maximum capacity (rafts for 8 filled with 11). So people did not have footholds while in the rafts. Because of the lack of footholds people fell of the rafts even in the mild summer rapids. The guides even expect this by preparing with a rope before the rapids. 3. Most of the guides are unprofessional. Usually guides provide information about the river and surrounding area while rafting. Most of the guides in this organization know only when to provoke water fights involving splashing the other rafts with water. The reason for two points is because otherwise the experience was very much positive and fun. Sadly this company manages to turn a easily wonderfuly amazing experience into a more then mediocre as well as needlessly dangerous experience.
