Later you will walk through the fanciest quarter in Tirana, accessing this area was prohibited to common people till the late 1980s. In the heart of this quarter, you will pass by and see the former Residence of Enver Hoxha.

Meat and Fish Markets, Green Markata (Fruit - Vegetables), Neutral area, Creative area, The Transit Zone is the area around the Bazaar, which has received development from the Bazaar. All areas interact and interact with each other.
In the Shopping Area you can find all kinds of services, bars, traditional restaurants, hotels, street food, different cuisine trends, etc.

Rruga Murat Toptani, Tirana, Albania The pedestrian "Murat Toptani" as a trail is of historical value and can be considered as a natural, museum and historical gallery.
It traverses several monumental artifacts that make it quite historic, such as the Fortress of Tirana, the headquarters of the Academy of Sciences, the park that can be considered the country's first national park, the old National Library, and the former Political Persecutor's Building followed in the end by Tanners Bridge. Walking along the way you can find as well some of the latest touristic destinations; Kalaja e Tiranes, the National Gallery of Arts, the Residence of the Albanian Royal Family, etc. 15 minutes
Enver Hoxha Pyramid, Tirana, Albania Once known as Enver Hoxha Museum it was inaugurated in 1988 and has served as the heritage museum of Enver Hoxha till 1991. It resembles an Egyptian pyramid dedicated to the pharaons. However,from above it reveals the shape of communist star spreading its rays. Nowadays, the present state will tell you much more.
Blloku, Tirana, Albania Ish-Blloku or commonly Blloku is an upmarket area in Tirana, widely known as an entertainment destination with its boutiques, shops, restaurants, trendy bars, pubs, and cafes.
Ish-Blloku has been called the "playground of the young Albanian elite".
It became very attractive after the fall of Communism in Albania, because during the communist period it was a restricted residential area for the members of the Albanian politburo, ordinary Albanians would not be allowed in. In Blloku you can still find the residence of Albania’s communist leader Enver Hoxha. 15 minutes

A casual walking tour of downtown Tirana seeing both historical and modern sites. A great opportunity to learn about the history and the culture of Albania.

The tour operator did not show up. Waited extra 45 minutes wasting my time. Called tour operator many times and text..no response. Sent messages to tour operator through Viator contact system, no response...very poor, big let down, very upset that tour operator torally ruined one day of our vacation.
