Best of Albania – 6 days Multidays tour of Nature and Culture

Just back from an active 9 days + tour in Albania with GoAsLocal. Amazing reactivity of the agency as it was booked only 3 days before departure with additional days and transfers. This tour included hiking days in the Alps and in the Llogara Park, visits of many historical sites such as Shrodër, Berat, Girocaster, Sarande, Himare, Porto Palermo, Svernec…,a stop at Duka’s winery, and a large break on the beaches of the Albanian Riviera. We were accompanied by an extremely knowledged and cultured guide called Daniel. We could experiment the best restaurants. Daniel shared with us many information about the oustanding past of the country and its cultural impact. The agency was checking very often if we were 100% satisfied. All the hotels and guesthouses met our expectations : nice situations, services, very clean, generous traditional breakfasts/meals. Absolutely recommandable.

6 amazing days in such a small country in eastern europe. We visited many sites and they are blessed with amazing nature and history. I will definitely miss the food, I did did get some recepies though. Bearat was lovely and also I would like to thank the guide Daniel for helping us with everything. Cheers.

We took a McCarthy'sParty 12 day tour of Newfoundland and Labrador from August 26 to September 6, 2024. The whole experience was most positive, the itinerary was well thought out and we were lucky to have an excellent guide in Eugene Flynn. Whose knowledge of everything Newfoundland is extensive. Our accommodations and meals could not be faulted. I think we saw most of the highlights and those we didn't see just means that we need to return for a follow-up tour at a different time of year so that we can take in what we missed this time around. Whenever that is, I shall be using McCarthy'sParty.
