We did the Trail of Discovery tour with Kevin, an engaging fellow who loves what he does, which in this case was taking us into parts of the mountain otherwise inaccessible. The views, the wildflowers, the forest and the overall experience were all wonderful, and Kevin's enthusiasm rubbed off on us. Highly recommended.

This was our 10th time to Lake Louise in 20 years, but our first Ski Lift. It was tops all the way around. We splurged on the steak at the cafe at the top and had a view of Lake Louise and the mountains that we thought was only possible from a helicopter. The highlight of our mountain top experience was Kevin, an interpretive guide. He was knowledgeable about the mountains, hikes, animals, and backcountry lodges. He reminded us of Emerson's transcendentalism and oversoul. Clearly, Kevin is a naturalist but also a philosopher. If you go, ask for him. He will help you understand the wonder of our magnificent world.

My partner and I did a trip up the gondola and also had an educational guided hike with Jacob, which focused on bear-safety in the national parks. We both really enjoyed it and would recommend this activity to families.
