Be dazzled by a sky full of more stars than you can possibly imagine. Join our skilled guide on a star and moonlit hike through the Kananaskis forest. This hike is sure to open your senses and change your perspective; even a familiar trail looks different after hours! In an open meadow, your group will pause to relax and take in the night sky; you are welcome to bring a camera and tripod to try out some astrophotography or to just hang out with the group, and chat about astronomy. Certified guide, snowshoes (if needed), headlamp, hot drink and cookie included. This tour is suitable for children 13 years and older.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Super fun late night hike with snowshoes to an open clearing that was perfect for the stargazing portion of the tour. Hot drinks and snacks provided. Our tour guide did a great job at incorporating facts about the local landscape as well.

A really cool experience to walk through the forest at night! Our guide Autumn was great! She made the adventure fun, made sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. It felt like a relaxing tour with new friends.

What an amazing adventure! We had a terrific hike through the gorgeous night forest! Our guide, Autumn, was beyond wonderful! She and the whole group on January 24 were so lovely and kind to me despite my total lack of hiking experience and a busted up ankle. I would definitely do this again. Thanks Autumn!!
