Mit dem Katamaran ging es gemächlich die Küste entlang. Erklärungen über die vorbeiziehenden Strände ????️und Steilküste ???? gab es vom Personal. Der Kapitän ????‍✈️ manövrierte das Boot oft vorsichtig bis in die Höhlen.

Probably the most popular option for tourist activities. So far so good, we booked their boat tour to Benagil caves for 30 euros. At the check-in point they convinced us to upgrade for 10 more euros to have a catamaran tour with few people on it and special treatment. That was worth it because we stayed half an hour more on the boat, caught a bit of sunset, went directly into the caves with a small speedboat boat and had a tasting of traditional drinks, pastries and fruits on board for free. There was also more space to chill during the trip, obviously more luxurious, 2 rooms with private bathrooms, comfy slippers on board, couches, table to eat etc. It gets a little rough on bigger waves on such a small boat (yacht) but is worth the trip for what you see along the way and experience. It also gets extremely cold due to the wind, but they are well prepared with blankets. The tour guide and skipper were both very friendly and informed us with interesting insights along the way, such as the history of Algarve, the nature around us and about their culture. I definitely recommend this trip to people that would like this kind of experience, despite the sea sickness that might get in the way!
