Departing from Albufeira Marina, this is a two hour and thirty minutes activity that will take you in a journey to see these wonderful creatures in their natural environment, a few miles from the coastline. After a period time with the dolphins, you'll be taken for a tour along the coastline, visiting some caves. The order of the activity may vary, according to the captain assessment of the dolphins location. Great tour guide very charasmatic and informative, even though we didn't get to see the dolphins, as they were obviously hiding at the time of our tour, the cave and general scenery and ocean view was amazing. Highly recommend

The experience and staff aboard are great. However the reason for a 3 rating is the location to get to almost made me late as Taxi driver unsure of where this was as I showed my ticket, also no safety mentioned as worst case scenario and to top it off no dolphins. The cruise was brilliant on the other hand as well as caves. If you do get a taxi ask for algar experience, and if you are going to book, go for guaranteed option at least then you can claim back.

Staff were absolutely lovely and entertaining and great with the kids but no sign of dolphins and just made for a very unenjoyable trip with very cold wind and wet from the heavy spray of the sea. Didn’t even slow to look for dolphins - we were just told ‘there were none’ as we docked 40mins earlier than the ‘2.5hr trip’. Quite disappointing and wouldn’t recommend. Caves were cool but photos made it look as if you went into them and at most we sailed to about 100yds to the mouth of them.
