Start the tour after getting picked up from your hotel or any meeting point in the Albufeira area, travel to the destination of Silves, the castle is a must-see, and the Silves Cathedral, a unique place full of historical pieces that tell the history of the region. We will then proceed onward to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve region with 902 meters of height. Next stop it's to visit Cabo São Vicente in Sagres, this is the most southwesterly point in Continental Europe. Admire the Fortaleza de Sagres, a very important military monument in the time of the discoveries. You will have free time to lunch here. Next we are heading to the Praia da Cordoama with an amazing rock formation on top of the sea. We move to Lagos where you will visit the city centre and the historical places. After this you will be returning to your hotel.

We decided to do this tour as a surprise for a friends hen do. The tour guide was very friendly and talkative. But overall, the tour left us very disappointed, it did not match the itinerary provided on the website and in the description. We did not visit the locations listed, instead we were taken up a mountain and were stopping off at various trees on our journey including figs, lavender and olives which is great for tree lovers. We stopped in Lagos and given 1 hour and 15 minutes to look around when the itinerary said 2 hours which meant we only had time for lunch. We went to Mount Foia, Cape Saint Vincent both which were quick stop right at the end to see the end of the world. Silves was very short stop too where we saw the castle and the church. It does state online that the tour is 8 hours long so this should end at 5pm instead this ended at 6:15pm and we missed a pre arranged spa.

This tour was excellent! Mario was a really knowledgeable guide who explained everything from the history of the area to its flora and fauna, showing us white lavender, eucalyptus and wild mint, taking us to see all the stalk nests. He took us to Silves, where we went into the castle, Monchique, Lagos and Sagres. He exuded a love of the Algarve region and really took care to make sure we were having a good time.

This tour covers a lot of Algarve and would be ideal to see all the places in Algarve in a day. It’s a must try And recommended tour. Some room for Improvement is following things, General communication can improve a little bit as well as the time Spent could be re adjusted based on places people would Like to spend more Time on. For example we could have spend more than 15 Mins in ponte de piedade algarve compare to the old fort and shop where we spend 30 mins.
