We were fortunate to have Radmyla as our guide 2 days in a row. Since this was day 2 it felt like getting together with a new old friend. She knows the history of the town inside out (she lives there) and she intertwined her stories of the town with drives to many great points of interest. We were on the move all day and got to see so much more than any large tour group. Alesund is a fascinating town with a poignant past and a great story of rebirth. I recommend this tour highly.

Ålesund is a charming town. Very easy to stroll from the cruise ship terminal with picturesque colorful buildings and a lovely petite harbor wharf. Many picture-worthy settings and patio cafes. We preferred just wandering and enjoying the scenic benches. Drinks and pizzas at Anno were very good.
