Discover the best sights, history and culture of Ålesund and the surrounding islands. You will be able to see a 12th century marble church located on the island of Giske. Then through the underwater tunnel you will get to the Alnes – a charming fishing community, from where you can admire a unique view of the Atlantic Ocean. An interesting point of our trip will be a visit to the local lighthouse. The next and the last point of the trip will be a stop at the view point Aksla – the best place to enjoy a magnificent panorama view over the city and the archipelago. For those who wish to walk down to the city center by the 418 stairs and take unforgettable photos, the tour will end here. The rest of the passengers will be taken to the starting point of our trip.

    Visit at the Sunnmøre’s oldest church .The church was originally built as a private chapel for the powerful Giske Family in the 1100s. Outside photo stop. No admission fee for outside visits.

Tour operator never showed, wouldn't use VIATOR again. We called the contact phone number twice and were kicked to the drivers number which was not in service!

booked this trip for 2 people at a cost of £135 for july 22nd 2022. we turned up at the pick-up point 15mins before schedule. (12.00pm) we were still waiting at 12.45pm. in between these times i contacted the tour operator twice and was told firstly that the tour bus was a few mins away (12.15pm) secondly that the tour bus had left at 12.00pm (12.25pm) and that we were not at the pickup point 1t 12.00pm. This is totally incorrect we were at the pickup point at 11.45am and have proof from google maps timeline that we were at the pickup point for 1 hour.. The excursion is run by a company called Excursions.no.. I think they need to be re-named No.Excursions.. Book at your peril.. I have requested a full refund of £135 but have been offered £28.. ABSOLUTE JOKE
