Andrea Jensen is a unique sailing experience with British crew. An 85 year old, Danish sailing ship, with a traditional gaff rig, one of a kind in Sardinia. During the day cruise, you will join a very small group of guests who will share this once in a life time experience. The tour offers quality and service, the best boat trip in Alghero by far. Sail from port and explore the stunning coast to Capo Caccia, along the infamous Coral Riviera and stop in Porto Conte Bay. Take in the beautiful scenery, whilst relaxing on board, chatting to new friends or just chill on deck. Freshly prepared lunch on board. During a 2 hr stop, there is an opportunity for swimming and snorkeling in a beautiful, secluded bay, with breath taking, crystal clear water. Enjoy our selection of local wines or beer (soft drinks and water are also available). All inclusive. In the afternoon, you can help to raise the sails for a gentle sail back to Port. Fun, sun and sailing. Dolphins may join us if you are lucky!

It was amazing. A great day. Wonderfully relaxed. Food and drinks perfect and very friendly crew! You get value for money. Was the 2nd time for me and have booked again the next one. Enjoy the sea and the view for a whole day with a maximum of 12 people on board. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful day on the water on the Andrea Jensen. It was their first cruise of their season but the weather was very much in our favour. Predicted light rain didn't arrive, the sea was calm and we had continuous sunshine in a light breeze all day. The scenery along the coast north of Alghero was breathtaking. The boat is an authentic gaff rigged wooden ketch built in the late 1930s as a sailing fishing boat. Everyone helped out getting the sails up, trimmed and stowed when the sailing was done. The midday lunch was delicious with something for all tastes. The crew were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and talked us through all aspects of running a vintage wooden sailing ship. I would highly recommend taking this trip for people of all levels of experience and none. For experienced sailors it is a rare opportunity to experience authentic wooden ship sailing. The boat is heavy and very steady when motoring or sailing so no-one felt unwell at any time. It is especially suitable to people who have never sailed before.
