Discover the Nuragic civilization, one of the greatest inhabitants of Europe before the Roman Empire expansion. Kevin, your professional local guide, is bilingual in Italian and English and he has always lived in Alghero, so that he will be able to answer your questions and also give you some useful information about the town, such as where to eat or what to do in Alghero and in the island. *If you wish not to visit both archaeological sites, Kevin will be happy to lead you to the old town for a short visit of the Catalan-style city fortress, without any extra charge. Kevin was a very good tour guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, open to questions. He translated the information signs at this site so it feels like you’re getting an insider tour. He was able to answer all our questions and I thought this tour was really interesting. He was also mindful of the weather and had us do the no shade necropolis tour earlier in the day so we wouldn’t be out in the scorching heat. He seems to really love his job and his hometown.

A great tour with a super friendly and fun guide who also gave us loads of information about the area and tips on other places to visit. We both really enjoyed our morning, amazing sites and history, highly recommended!

Det var utrolig fint å bli hentet på hotellet og kjørt i bil direkte til stedene vi skulle besøke. Kevin var flink til å forklare oss om de to stedene, og svarte på spørsmålene våre. Han tilbød også å ta bilder av oss, slik at vi fikk bilder fra ferien med hele familien. Vi hadde med to barn på 8 og 10. Åtteåringen kan ikke så mye engelsk ennå, og syntes nok det var litt kjedelig å høre på forklaringene. Men begge barna syntes det var gøy å utforske gravstedene og nuraghen. Det var også lagt inn en pause der man kunne benytte toalett og kjøpe is, noe barna satte pris på siden det var ganske varmt. Alt i alt var det en veldig fin opplevelse, og det var spennende å lære noe nytt!
