During these two days, I managed to cover three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, thanks to the kindness and flexibility of Mr. Wassim, who efficiently and very kindly accommodated my travel needs, budget, schedule and interest. From Constantine, I was welcomed by Lamia and Nabil - and we explored the treasures of Timgad, Djemila and Beni Hammad. The third site was a challenge to reach, but yet we managed to cover all these places.

This was our first trip to Algeria and we had no idea what to expect. We were so pleased to see Wassim waiting for us and making sure that we were checked into our flight for Constantine. Our guide, Lamia, and our driver Haroun were waiting for us in Constantine and off we went to Djemila. The drive was easy and the sight breathtaking. We had a guide who gave us excellent history in the museum and at the excavation site, From the site, we had a great lunch and were delivered to our hotel tired but happy. The next day was Timgad and we did not think it could top Djemila but it did. The Roman ruins are breathtaking and again our guide and driver were excellent. The tour of Constantine was with a different guide, Ridad, and she showed her beautiful city making it come alive for us. The Grand Mosque, the museum, the palace, and the bridges have great history and photo opportunities. Lunch was at a local restaurant and delicious! Highly recommend this city and this tour! Thank you Wassim!!!
