This is a great choice for your short stay in the island, and also a great way of soaking in your guide´s wisdom ant tips, which will help you better plan your next days. Furnas is on of the main craters of the island and where the volcano activity can be closely observed in all its splendor. We will cover: Furnas lake, geysers, steam cooking pods and water fountains. While in Furnas indulge yourself in a steaming bath at Poça da D. Beija (1 ticket per person included), great even under winter weather and that will relax your mind and rejuvenate your muscles. After replenish your energies with local delicacies: the "Bolo Lêvedo'' (yeast cake); corn or even the famous “cozido” cooked on the boiling waters of the volcano (meals are not included and are optional) To complete this amazing experience, we also include the tea plantation, and the great Lagoa do Fogo. This is the perfect day in São Miguel even if it's raining!

Great communication and a wonderful private tour! Carlod was at the cruise dock at the time we had agreed on and we spent the day with im exploring this beautiful island. His English is perfect (he lived in the US) and he is very knowledgeable and loves the island. We were ahead of the buses from the cruise line and had a lot of time to look and explore. Yes, we would book with him again in a heart beat.
