As you stand and admire the Church of Trinitàdei Monti, which sits at the top of a famous stairwell with the Fontana Della Barcaccia at its foot, you will wonder how they were ever able to complete it.

    Not included in the MINI WOW Tour)A true masterpiece to admire on your tour of Rome: The Pantheon. Immaculately preserved and seemingly just a few centuries old, it isn't easy to believe that the structure was finished in AD 128 by Emperor Hadrian. In the square in front - a gathering place for locals – discover a decorative 16thcentury fountain sitting beneath the Egyptian obelisk. Your guide will suggest the best time to go back and see the inside of the monument. Kindly NOTE that the line might be too long due to the metal detector and the visit is from outside.

    The driver will pick you up at your hotel and bring you at the Colosseum, where you will meet your guide. After admiring the impeccably preserved Arch of Constantine, you will move onto the Coliseum. The grandest amphitheater in the world will amaze you! You will walk on the footsteps of Roman Emperors through the Roman Forum. Thanks to your guide’s explanations, you will be able to imagine their triumphal processions and public speeches. The Arch of Titus will be the perfect introduction to the panoramic hill of The Palatine. The ancient legend says that Romulus founded Rome on this hill in 753 B.C. Following his actions, the Emperors built here their opulent homes. After this complete Ancient Rome tour, you will fully understand Ancient Roman life.

  • LIMITED MOBILITY Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour can continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs, but, for safety reasons, it is not possible to carry wheelchairs and walkers down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, we can still bring you to the Basilica, going back to the Museum's entrance and reaching it from the outside with the car. Although there is a dedicated pathway for wheelchairs, please be aware that there may be a queue to enter the Basilica. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to take charge of pushing the wheelchair.
  • VATICAN IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS (and religious holidays). Due to the Wow Tour's high request, we designed a Sunday experience when the Vatican is closed. With your guide, and your driver you will explore St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant' Angelo area and other marvelous sites like the Aventine hill; from its top, you enjoy spectacular views over the city. As an alternative we will prospose other museums or arcaeological sites!
  • Option 3 - WOW Tour - 7,5 hours: This tour has the car at disposal for the whole time. Nevertheless, transfers are scheduled according to entrance time tickets; if you need to anticipate or postpone a transfer, our staff will do their best to meet your needs. Please note that the Colosseum ticket includes Roman Forum and Palatine that you can enter autonomously within 24 hours. The guide will explain it from the outside
  • STROLLERS: We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers are not allowed in the passage from the Sistine Chape directly to the Basilica ( 50 steps downward ). Your private tour will end without the Basilica visit. The PREMIUM OPTION with the car at your disposal, helps us organize the Basilica visit. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has stroller paths.
  • Option 1 - SHORE EXCURSION FROM ROME (CIVITAVECCHIA PORT) 10 hours: this option includes pick up and drop off at the dock of your ship. It also includes the car at disposal during the tour. Nevertheless, transfers are scheduled according to entrance time tickets; if you need to anticipate or postpone a transfer, our staff will do their best to meet your needs.Please note that the Colosseum ticket includes Roman Forum and Palatine that you can enter autonomously you you have spare timebefore going back to the port.   • Option 2 - Mini WOW Tour - 4,5 hours: It is designed for those who are interested in the Colosseum and Vatican Visit and not in the tour of ther squares which is not included in this option.This tour has no car at diposal while you are inside the Vatican and the Colosseum. Nevertheless it icludes pick-up and intermediate transfers. No lunch and no drop off included. Please note that the Colosseum ticket includes Roman Forum and Palatine that you can enter autonomously within 24 hours. The guide will explain it from the outside

This tour is worth the extra money. The group tours were insane and we were able to do more and move around easier with a private one. First of all great driver Olig. On time and we felt safe. The most amazing guide Patrizia! She is so knowledgeable and fun. Took lots of pictures for us and really we enjoyed her. She is also funny! Everyone knows her too. So much history. So much art. I nearly cried over the Sistine Chapel. She showed us a few great things like a beautiful mosaic in a small church. A peaceful little courtyard too of what was once a temple. I can’t begin to describe how much we saw and learned. Perfect full day Rome experience. Pay a little more for less stress, more seen, and a much better experience. Lunch was good too. All very well planned.

A Day with Francesca I booked a private tour because I was treating a friend for her 80th BD. My friend is very hard of hearing and I knew it would be difficult for her in a larger group setting. Having a driver and a guide all to ourselves was a once-in-a-lifetime treat for both of us. Francisca, our personal guide, studied for 10 years for her job and was extremely qualified and friendly. She was patient with us and made sure we understood everything we were seeing. It was a pleasure to really skip the lines and spend our time seeing and hearing about Rome rather than standing in long lines. It was the trip of a lifetime for us. Suzanne Connolly

We could not say enough good things about this tour. The driver was great and on time at every stop. We had one family member in a wheelchair and he helped get it in an out of the car at every stop. Our guide was Andy and he was amazing. So knowledgeable, helpful, and really made it such a special day for our family. He taught us so many new things, made sure we knew all the great spots to stop for the special photos, answered so many of our question. He felt like part of the family by the end. He knew just where to go to get us past all the lines so we had more then enough time to enjoy the sights we were there too see. We highly recommend this tour and if you get to go with Andy it will be even more wonderful.
