Driving snowmobile is a great way to experience freedom and it is an activity that we really enjoy to offer. We arrange organized guided tours since 2007 and have the knowledge about the area and the best way to explore it. We will take you to breathtaking places with incredible and different views where we can stop and take some pictures. If we are lucky we can also meet a reindeer herd in their traditional migration over the mountain plateau.
  • We will offer warm beverages and light snacks during the tour
  • Professional guide, local history, warm cloths/suits, boots and helmet.
  • Instructions on how to drive snowmobile and safety rules will be given.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • All the drivers most bring a regular driver license for cars or motorcycle.
  • We require a minimum of 2 participants for the tour.
  • The minimum age for this trip is 16 years old for the passenger and 18 years old for the driver.
  • Cancellations can happen due to weather conditions. In this case, a full refund will be provided.
  • Remember to take on warm clothing (first layer preferably wool and not cotton, second layer fleece or cotton), wool socks (not cotton), hat, mittens (not gloves) and scarf.
  • The passenger weight should not be over 75 kg.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

The snowmobile safari with Stig was one of the best trips we have done. Stig was very kind and talked a lot about life in norway. The whole safari was pretty long but was never boring. The landscape of the Finnmarksvidda is amazing and the snowmobile were in a good condition. It was so much fun. We will do it again when coming back to Alta!

Die Motorschlittensafari war super. Kleine Gruppe, sehr gut organisiert, sehr persönlich und die Schlitten waren in einem hervorragendem Zustand. Es hat uns riesig Spaß gemacht und wir können diesen Trip nur weiterempfehlen!

fue ALUCINANTE! Stig fue nuestro guia, y (para ser la primera vez con motos de nieve) lo hizo todo ameno y facil! Fue aumentando la dificultad progresivamente a medida que veia que nos sentiamos mas comodos conduciendo las motos de nieve. Sin duda volveria a repetir!!! Gracias Stig por darme una de las mejores experiencias aqui en Noruega!
