Bicycle Tour on Death Road

Lousy maintenance bikes a German from the tour suffered serious accident by ruptured bike frame which could happen to anyone

It all started great. We were picked up on time and collected the other participants. Then you went to the first stop by bus and you were “instructed” in the bike and equipment. The brakes had Mega a lot of play. He told us they were very sensitive. They weren't at all. They worked absolutely dangerous for such a distance. The gear shift did not work and the seat kept sliding down. FYI, I weigh only 80 kg. The helmets and protectors had already had their best time. Then it happened on Death Road. My bike broke apart in the middle on a straight track. I fell to the floor at full speed. Luckily it wasn't in a curve or I would have fallen down the slope. Everyone was shocked afterwards and drove at a felt 5 km/h down the track. I suffered multiple bruises and a laceration to my left eye. Luckily, there was a prospective doctor who looked at me. The two guides also did not want to go to the hospital and strictly follow their program with pool and other shit. Only when the doctor said that everything was fine and that no further treatment was needed did the mood of the guides improve again. Absolutely not a recommendation. Worst organization ever. Don't book anything here

NÃO RECOMENDO!!!!!!!!!! O material que dão nao está em condicões, nao protege nada! Deram-me um capacete que disse que me estava muito grande, disseram que não tinham mais pequeno e que tinha de ir com aquele. As luvas eram muito finas e todas rasgadas. Infelizmente cai, porque a estrada é um PERIGO, e como o material não protegia nada, o capacete saltou assim que cai, tive de levar 10 pontos no queixo, parti a mão e fiquei com as mãos todas em ferida porque as luvas se rasgaram ainda mais assim que cai. Não foram capazes de nos avisar que era epoca de chuvas, estava a chover, imenso nevoeiro e não se via nada da vista. UM PERIGO QUE NAO VALE A PENA
