Huayna Potosi is Bolivia՚s most popular mountain and offers something for both beginner and experienced mountaineers. The normal route poses no technical challenges and is doable by anyone with moderate fitness and good acclimatization. The French route presents an additional challenge for more experience climbers.

It seemed everything that could go wrong on this trip did. Delayed flights for 5hrs, missed flights, and missing baggage made for an unfortunate start to my trip. Bolivia Mountaineering was a huge help in getting my issues resolved especially in a heavily Spanish speaking airport. Bolivia Mountaineering is one of the best guide companies I've ever had the pleasure working with, and they go above and beyond to assist there clients any way they can for a successful expedition. They have some of the best guides in all of South America. Pedro is a machine, his knowledge and passion for the mountains is unmatched. Multiple successful summits with an unforgettable sunrise on Huayna Potosi. I'll be using Bolivia Mountaineering in the future not only for my expeditions in Bolivia but all over South America. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing guide and trip. Pedro is a top notch guy and guide. He has grown up in the mountains and has it in his blood. Trip was fantastic. I'm planning to come back next year!!
