Get a true understanding of Bolivia by exploring its unique political identity and rich social fabric, essential to grasping the reality of any place. Bolivia has consistently chosen its own direction within Latin America: from major economic decisions like the nationalization of gas and lithium, to rewriting its Constitution with indigenous values at the center, to being the only country where McDonald’s went bankrupt.
This experience offers an insightful look into Bolivia’s complex history, indigenous resurgence, and political evolution, past and present. It’s designed to be balanced and thought-provoking, encouraging you to form your own understanding regardless of your political perspective.
And you won’t just hear about it, you’ll see it. The journey unfolds aboard a thoughtfully planned route that includes La Paz’s stunning cable car system. It’s storytelling in motion for curious minds who want depth, context, and connection—not just a tour.

You get to see La Paz’s major cemetery (Cementario General) - it is so big, it has street signs. You also get to go to Mirador Killi Killi. Plus you get an aerial tour of the city and its neighborhoods, and you finish off going through the Witches Market. Highly recommended. Please note, the aerial tramway is a working people’s mode of transportation.
