Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world, located at 3856 meters above sea level. Its shores and small islands are home to the Aymara and Quechua who come from ancient cultures that lived in this area long before the Incas dominate. One of the peculiarities of Lake Titicaca are the small floating islands inhabited by a tribe called the Uros. After this we will have lunch at the local archaeological restaurant and then visit the small handicraft market and ancestral places to learn about the customs that still remain from the ancestors. We can also enjoy an experience of sailing in boats made of Totora, in private service.

Amazing experience! My driver and guide were friendly and knowledgeable. They provided me a customized tour experience that I’ll remember forever. So many beautiful sights and such wonderful experiences. I opted for the optional toturo board ride at Huanajata and it was absolutely worth it. Copacabana is an amazing town, as well as the amazing lunch we had on a secluded area of Isla del Sol. Thank you so much!!
