This 2 days / 1 night tour is the most complete that can be done in the salt flat, visit the Tunupa volcano and make treking, you can do the sunset tour. You look at the mirror effect with the reflection in the salar, with expert guides of more than 10 years (This package is available from April to December without rain)

We pick up from all hotels in the city of Uyuni, after coordination with the clients included in the price they pay for the product 1 day before the start of the tour. We pick up from the bus in the early morning from 04:00 am to 08:00 am when the all-tourist bus arrives. We also pick up from the airport at 08:40 am. If visitors request pick-up from hotels, Hotel Palacio de Sal, Hotel Luna Salada, we pick up with an extra payment of 30 USD per group after coordination with the client 1 day before start the tour, 1 hour before star the tour.

I had 2D1N tour. Day 1 to the salt flat with Brian was awesome! He was both the guide, driver and photographer! He really made a huge effort to make every guest happy! On our way back, he even stopped to let us see the milky way above the salt flat! (Ended up we were the last group to come back!) A fruitful day with lots of beautiful memories! Day 2 with another guide Juan, it was also nice, though Brian took much better photos. Overall im happy with the tour!

The good: - Well-organized tour including the most important sights and places - Our drivers and staff were very friendly and helpful - We felt like the whole company did everything to make us feel the best - Guides always explained everything we needed to know Points to improve - Paid the extra 50 dollars for an English driver and out of the 4 only 2 spoke good enough English to address requests or explain things - During sunrise, we went to a wet part of the flat and even though we were prepared with warm clothes as requested, we were extremely cold (probably the coldest of our life) and that made the otherwise spectacular experience a bit worse. They could explain the required clothes in more details before the trip, bring your warmest socks (even 2 pairs) - We went with the medium package but the hotel provided wasn’t up to par: it was cold and dirty - During sunset, our guides really pushed us to create multiple group videos instead of taking our own photos - the whole group seamed to dislike this

Let’s start with the positive ! Fernando our guide and fernando the driver were excellent ! They alone would get 5 star reviews. They were fun and knowledgable and went the extra mile We weee fortunate to have great weather and the water was still there so got excellent photos. They offered flexibility to see the night sky and stay later on the salt flats which was amazing. The not so great … ? Firstly we expected to sleep the first night out at a salt hotel but came back to uyuni - due to previous bad weather affecting access However this wasn’t explained until we asked - the company weren’t forthcoming and communication in the office was lacking. Changes to itinerary and reasons weren’t clearly communicated For us , the train cemetery and other stop offs weren’t a highlight but the salt flats were the main event and didn’t disappoint. I would recommend Andes however but suggest they are more forthcoming about any changes to itinerary
