    Once our guests are pick up by our driver/guide they will then be driven through Belize City as they make there way to the Altun Ha for there tour. Guest will be able to see some land marks of City such as the Baron Bliss Light house as well as the Museum of Belize a brick building that was use in the past as a prison. The drive is approximately an hour to the site. going north from Belize City. Along the way you will also get to see portion of the historic Old Belize River use as the first mode of transportation before there were any road net work in the country. You also get to see a few rural communities in the Belize District along the route. Once at the site you will be able to access and use the well sanitize rest rooms from there your tours begins with first with a walk through the museum on the site. Your guide will then accompanied you to the Mayan site of Altun Ha were you will be provided a guided tour with detail information of this ancient but important Mayan City

Our tour guide was EXCELLENT! He was incredibly knowledgeable and created a relaxed atmosphere, allowing my friend and me to truly enjoy the scenery without ever feeling rushed. Highly recommend!

My wife and I booked this tour when we we're on a cruise and visited Belize City for the first time. Our guide was Albert A., and he was fantastic. He picked us up at the cruise port, and during our drive to Altun Ya, he told us many interesting facts about Belize and Belize City. It is wonderful when your guide is passionate about their homeland and takes the time to teach you many facts about it. Upon reaching Altun Ya, the first place that Albert took us to was the site museum. He was very knowledgeable and explained much to us. Following that, he walked us to the ruins site and its "buildings" and took his time so that we could climb to the top of a couple of burial mounds. He also told us how it was discovered and about its history. After our visit, we asked Albert if he could take us to a restaurant that served authentic local food. He took us to a small place that served fried fish. It was delicious. All considered, this was an excellent tour and well worth the cost. You will be in for a special treat. if you get Albert as your guide.
