Day Tour Amalfi Coast

Pierpalo met us in the airport in Rome to drive us to Sorrento. We stopped for a pizza lunch at Naples at a place he recommended. He was entertaining, courteous and informative during the drive. He taught us about the history and culture of the area. When we arrived in Sorrento he gave us some recommendations of places to eat and things to try. A day later he picked us up for a days drive along the Amalfi Coast. He was personable, attentive and flexible as he listened to what we wanted to see and experience and adjusted the day accordingly. He taught us a lot about the area, took us to beautiful places for photos and introduced us to yummy food. It was fun to see him greet friends throughout the towns showing that he is a true native and an integral part of the community. On our last day he picked us up to take us to a tour of Pompei. After that he helped us find food to take on the train with us. We hope to come back to the area and reconnect with our new friend Pierpalo again in the future. He also shared stories of his dad and brother and I know they also provide the same level or impeccable service. I highly recommend this car service company to make your trip top notch!

Vincenzo Scala, our driver was very friendly and professional. He met us at Naples airport when we arrived. He was dressed professionally and his Mercedes was very clean. On our ride to Positano we stopped to visit Eurcolan and Pompeii ruins. He kept our bags safe while we visited the archeological sites. In between stops, Vincenzo also took us to an amazing local restaurant called Il Matti that served us delicious fresh lunch and local wine on a beautiful cool patio. Vincenzo was very personable and polite. He pointed out points of interest on our ride. He made our experience perfect giving us suggestions of places to visit, restaurants and insider recommendations for our stay on the Amalfi coast. Even when our 16 year old son wandered off while visiting Pompeii (which is a huge site). Vincenzo remained calm and took us around to different entrances/exits to search for him. Thankfully after about 30 minutes we located our son, whose phone had died so he was unable to call us with specific location. Vincenzo was very gracious despite that our trip was longer than anticipated. He alerted the hotel of our arrival so that porters would be available to get our bags. For our ride back to airport, Vincenzo arrived early am in Positano so that we had plenty of time to make our flight home. We highly recommend Vincenzo Scala as a private driver. He will make your journey easy, pleasant and a safe experience.
