Then continue the tour driving through the Ancient Marine Republic of Amalfi, home of Flavio Gioia (inventor of the compass). Some free time to visit the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew, explore the town, or browse and shop. Positano is one of the most suggestive towns of the Amalfi Coast. It's situated on a high cliff, like a crib. Here, there are tourists from all over the world, it is certainly the right place to relax and to disconnect from everyday life. Positano has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1997, for its beaches and the beauty of the natural landscape. However, this beautiful town is also famous for shopping (the “Positano fashion” is now known all over the world!), the food of the Amalfi Coast and for its history.

Nice day but very disappointed that 2 hours in Ravello turned out to be 1 hour. So had to choose between the Villa or the town.
