The goal is that you see what you want to see. You can decide the itinerary as the day goes by in order to make the best of your time.     Pompeii is simply a miracle: the most incredible gift the Mt Vesuvius could ever give us. It was buried under 20 ft of soft volcanic debris. This left the ground levels basically intact. Most my guests do no expect it to be so big and well preserved. We will check the Forum, the Bath House, the Theatre. But - even more interesting - we will visit their private homes, the streets, the shops. We will learn about daily life in Ancient Rome. We will feel the presence of the ancient pompeians, feel their struggle for life, their virtues and vices, just normal people like all of us!

    The Amalfi Drive is a scenic winding road with amazing picture opportunities. Along this road there are several charming villages where we can decide together to stop. It will be your choice where to stop, here are some different options: Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Cetara etc..Also Sorrento on the other side of the coast is a possible option.

  • Torre di Cetara, Cetara, Italy
    If selected on tour with your driver - Cetara makes a good pair with Amalfi or Ravello. Cetara is on a a few places off-the-beaten track on the Amalfi Coast. You can take some time on own to explore the village, check the little beach and browse the shops. There are nice little restaurants as well. If you would be interested you can also ask your driver to stop by one the traditional workshop that produce the famous fish sauce called "colatura di alici". If you wish to visit to Old Tower let us know so we can reserve double check the availability.

  • Le Ville di Ravello, Ravello, Italy
    If selected on tour, it makes a good pair with Amalfi in terms of distance and traveling time - Ravello is a lovely resort town with some stunning views. If you wish you can decide to visit on own its wonderful Duomo or the beautiful Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo with their spectacular gardens. Or simply sit down at one of the lovely cafés in the Town square and watch the world go by. Great opportunities for local ceramic shopping if you wish.

    If selected on tour - it makes a good pair with Ravello in terms of distance and traveling time. Amalfi was once the glorious capital of the Amalfi Coast. Today it is a vibrant town where you can enjoy some free time for visiting and/or shopping and/or checking the beach out.

  • Chiostro di San Francesco, Sorrento, Italy
    If selected on tour - Sorrento would be our recommendation when visiting Positano, in terms of distance and traveling time. Sorrento is an ancient town located on a stunning cliff. In the Old Sorrento there is a great outdoor pedestrain market area where you will find the best opportunities on the coast for eating and shopping.

    If selected on tour - it makes a good pair with Sorrento in terms of distance and traveling time. Positano is the best known resort town of the Amalfi Coast. The views from the Amalfi Drive down to Positano are just unforgettable. You can stop there and enjoy on own the pedestrian area full of lovely shops: art galleries, ceramic and sandal workshop, Positano-style linen fashion. Or also you can decide to walk down to the beach to check the Mediterranean Sea!

Fabrizio is kind, considerate, and so knowledgeable. Knowing our limited time, he tailored our experience to exactly what we wanted. He was informative and curated a fantastic day of highlights for us in Pompeii and all along the Amalfi coast. We are already planning our next trip back and will be calling Fabrizio!

I booked this tour months ago and Fabrizio reached out very soon after booking to introduce himself and learn a bit more about our family and what we would like out of this tour. I found this to be very professional and comforting knowing if I had questions, he would communicate promptly. Pick up at the port was seamless and his van was very clean and comfortable. Fabrizio recommended doing the Amalfi Coast first and then Pompeii to avoid crowds in both places. He made suggestions on best places to stop along the coast and we took them. Ravello was stunning! We toured a villa and gardens perched on a hilltop with outstanding views. We stopped in Vietri for a quick look at local pottery then on to Pompeii. The drive along the coast was amazing! Once to Pompeii, we stopped for lunch at a great place recommended by Fabrizio then we went into the city. Fabrizio, schooled in archaeology and art was a wealth of knowledge throughout our tour. He took us to areas that most tours don’t and showed us such amazing things. Overall, it was an outstanding day. I would highly recommend spending a day with Fabrizio. We were back to ship in plenty of time, even though I really didn’t want to leave this beautiful area! Thank you Fabrizio! We will be back!

Best experience! We had a great day and could personalize our trip. Felt safe and cared for the whole time. Such an amazing place, with an amazingly unique history experience. Exploring the coast and ruins will be the highlight of my Italy trip.
