    Ravello is a beautiful small town, up on the hill of the Amalfi coast overlooking the sea from Maiori to Amalfi. Enjoy the visit of the church, Il Duomo, and the beautiful gardens of Villa Rufolo (entrance fee with charge): a favorite haunt of musicians, artists and poets, eulogized in the poetry of Bocaccio and where Richard Wagner saw the living image of the garden of his imagination: a unique experience that takes you into a different world.

Great day trip to see all towns of Amalfi coast! Boat tour was an added bonus! Light lunch for the price in Amalfi was well worth it.

The drive along the coast road is spectacular for both the scenery and the traffic! This is definitely not a place you should try (as a tourist) to navigate or drive yourself. Our driver was wonderful. Full of local knowledge and information and very happy to tell us what he knew. On a downside skip the included lunch and go your own way for food. Multiple choices at various places. Overall, we were pleased we elected to stay in Sorrento and complete a day trip to the Amalfi Coast via a small group tour.

Even though the Amalfi Coast drive was very beautiful, we were overall disappointed in the tour. Here are our observations: 1. Nino was a careful, pleasant driver, but we would have liked more commentary about what we were seeing. All three towns seemed to be mostly shopping opportunities. 2. He didn't want to stop at the most picturesque areas on the way up (when the sunlight was perfect) but instead stopped on the way down in the afternoon when the sunlight was too bright for us to get nice pictures. 3. The lunch was very disappointing. We weren't even given a simple choice of dishes. The appetizer of bruschetta was okay, but the main course of gnocchi was something neither of us would ever order, and frankly was probably the cheapest thing that could have been served. We actually had to order another dish and pay €16 for it. 4. The van was clean but not as comfortable as it should have been. We felt every bump in the road! I'm sorry, but we won't be recommending this tour to anyone.
