So I stayed at the Hotel Dei Congressi Castellammare di stabia, I saw three trips on line Pompeii,Amalfi drive and Capri . Listed was the hotels it picked up at, Dei Congressi being listed as a hotel pick up, I even phoned Tui excursions who said "100% I would be picked up from hotel, so I booked over the phone and paid BIG MISTAKE! as once I had printed my e tickets off, there was no mention of the hotel as a pick up but a generic pick up 15+miles away!! When I phoned Tui they said I would be shuttled from the hotel to this pick up! however on my departure day the message I received was they DO NOT pick up from the hotel, only to be told later yes they do! Come on TUI not good enough, at resort told they do not pick up at hotel! Had to get a taxi to the pick up for Almalfi Drive at 50 euros each way!!! However once on the trip the Amalfi drive with lunch included was a great trip, the guide was half English/half Italian, she was wonderful, the drive with the sheer drops and twisty bends,and free time in Amalfi and a very good lunch, optional boat trip at 12 euro each was great about 45 mins across the coast no waiting for boat as we went straight on, this trip made my holiday just TUI made it more EXPENSIVE and very much mis sold!
