Amarone wine tasting is a perfect tour to plunge in the heart of the Valpolicella area well known for its incomparable red wines. After the first tasting you will admire the beautiful city of Verona with a walking tour of 1 hour and half well known for the outstanding Romeo and Juliet's balcony and Roman amphitheatre. Then our expert guides will lead you through verdant Valpolicella landscapes tasting different types of wines (Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto) at the family-run winery "Le Bignele". The wine tasting includes a light lunch of typical cheese and salami. Our guides will transfer you to the Soave wine district where you will visit an historical winery "Le Battistelle" with a tasting of 4 of the most representative wines.

Had a great day out with Riccardo. We didn’t realize that this was a private tour when we booked it. Visited two very unique wineries. Both were very small and family owned. A great experience at both. Riccardo then spent the time walking us around Verona sharing the history with us. This is a definite must do tour.

Ricardo was amazing and went over and above to ensure we were comfortable every step of the way. He had clearly researched each stop and was open to adjusting the tour to fit our needs. He quickly learned our wine tastes and advised the wineries accordingly, providing top notch service. Would highly recommended

Ricardo was a great guide. He had amazing wine knowledge and was very friendly, we went to two fantastic wineries which were family owned. Both of the guides we had at the wineries, Taylor and Sonia spoke amazing English so conversations were easy and they were both very knowledgeable. Nice snacks at both. We also stopped at Verona which was great to see - a nice city with some lovely spots for a drink. Would definitely recommend this tour, the only thing to be aware of is that the driving time is quite long on the return journey but it was worth it to see more of Italy.
