Amazing place...lots of walking....lazy fat tourists exploiting donkeys and camels.... Places to eat and toilets along the way

I really enjoyed Petra. Bring extra cash because at Petra, you can pay for entry and then you can pay for a tour in different languages and they have different distances. Then you have to figure in tips. Plus there are animal rides. My tour guide knew his information and I tipped him well from my knowledge of what you tip a tour guide. My driver Anas was great. Depending what you do in Petra, you may need a day or a few hours. It’s all dependent how far you go. I was able to get to the royal burial chambers but I also asked many questions. Definitely be careful of fake tour guides. My driver warned me about them and there are signs warning visitors about them. Go inside the visitor center and there they have the official tour guide station. Please be respectful of the site. It was angering to see people just throwing their trash or climbing on whatever they wanted to.

Our driver Abdul is an absolute legend and let us know everything we wanted to know about Jordan. Even after Petra he found some hidden gems for us to get some good shots and even fed us to and from Petra. The guy has a great attitude and he really made our trip
