Dana to Petra Trek (Group)

This tour company has the pulse of Jordan. I saw so many famous sites: Jerash, Petra, Dead Sea, Red Sea, Aqaba, and Wadi Rum and did things I have never done: rode camels, floated in the Dead Sea, stayed in luxury Bedouin camps.. Our guide Aboud has spent years in Jordan working on movie projects, setting climbing trails, and engineer projects in Petra. Aboud was just outstanding, kept us safe, and helped us through transitions. We were a group of 14 from America. There was plenty of food. We had a regular bus driver, and donkey driver. I would highly recommend this company.

My boyfriend and I went on the Dana-to-Petra + Wadi Rum + Dead Sea group experience. It was an out of this world experience and exceeded all our already high expectations. Our guide Lama was the best, the bedouins we camped with were so lovely and welcoming and the food was great. The hike itself was amazing, every couple of hours we were walking through a completely different landscape. The views!!! Walking into Petra through the backdoor was the cherry on top. After five days of hiking, going to Wadi Rum was again such an amazing and new experience. Finally floating in the Dead Sea was a very nice way to end the trip. So. To summarize: it was a mumtaz trip and I just want to say to everyone: just GO! :D

Entering Petra via the backdoor, after hiking for four days through the Jordanian wilderness, probably comes closest to traveling with a caravan from the Orient during the heydays of Nabatean culture. The surprise will be perfect; the exaltation well-earned. The landscapes on the way are stunning and out-of-this world. At least one WAUW-I-can’t-believe-my-eyes moment a day, is guaranteed with this trip. If you have the chance to chose Lama as a guide, go for it. She’s the best guide of the entire world including the surrounding solar systems.
