    07:00 pickup hotel lobby or residence in Amman. The tour is available every day. Our English speaking driver will take you along the Desert Highway to Petra. Depending on traffic the transfer lasts minimum 2.5 hours.

    Around 09:30 you will be matched with your private guide from the Visitor Centre Petra and start to visit the astonishing rock city. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. You will pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theater and Qasr Al Bint. Here the guide says farewell to you. Free time on your own, then walk the same way back to the entrance gate. The average time customers spent in Petra is 5 hours, but certainly you are free to shorten or extend the length of your stay. Restaurants you find inside and around the main gate of Petra Archaeological Park.

Faudi ( not sure of spelling) was a safe and enjoyable driver. He had a good sense of humor and we enjoyed our conversations with him. He took us into Petra, set us up with a good guide and was very explicit about how to find him after our tour. He even gave us a device that gave us Wi-Fi to connect with him. We asked for a place to eat after our Petra walk and he joined us for a good buffet meal. Petra was as we had hoped- spectacular.

Our driver was waiting for us in the hotel lobby at the appointed time. He was flexible about timing and chose good places for our food/drink/shopping stops. The car was clean and comfortable. Just as advertised he obtained our entry tickets and connected us with a very knowledgeable English-speaking guide. It was a very enjoyable day. Because timing was important it was good to have the private transfer and guide.

Tayseer was a WONDERFUL guide. Incredibly knowledgeable about Petra's ancient and Biblical history. Such a gracious and humble gentleman. I felt so safe with him and had such a lovely time. 10/10 would recommend Mr. Tayseer!
