    You will be picked up from your hotel in Amman to join a small group to visit Jerash with a private English-Speaking Driver who doubles up as your guide.

    Wander among the original temples, theaters, plazas, paths, and colonnaded streets; all enclosed within the remaining city walls. Within the city walls have been found the remains of settlements dating from the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Umayyad and Abbasid periods, indicating human occupation at this location for more than 2,500 years. A local English-Speaking Guide will be included for your classic 2 hours visit of this Roman Decapolis City of Jerash. This ancient city was one of the most prosperous in the Roman Empire, and was covered by sand for centuries until its remnants were discovered in 1806 A.D.

its only taxi with a driver so i don't know why they are showing we will get so many things and in the end it's only nothing driver arrived and drove us 45 min to Jerash, then told us that we have only one hour to visit, when we arrive to local guide area they told us to visit the sites its 3 hours, and when we get back to the driver after we finished he asked us to pay him extra 120 usd for the 2 hours, so we fight with him asking him to call the office but he told us that he's not working for them, he's a freelance driver and they paying him 50 usd for the tour i don't think this is our problem if they take more than the half and don't pay good so in the end we pay him 100 usd but when you saying its half day that's mean it 4 to 5 hours tour not 2 and half hour just book with a good company that have drivers working for them or book with a freelance driver so you don't had this problem like us

Wow! What an amazing site. It’s so well preserved and huge much bigger than we thought it would be. We spent about 2hrs in total here. Our driver set us up with a guide at the site. He explained all the history and it was nice to get to know what all the sites were would def recommend getting a guide to help you know what you’re looking at. We then had some time to explore ourselves before headed back to the shops. We heard the shops were very pushy but didn’t feel that way, everyone was nice and respectful of you said no (La in Arabic) and kept walking. There were some neat items but you can get better prices back in Amman touristic shops.
