    Experience a full-day trip to Wadi Rum, starting from Amman, Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Amman and then start the drive towards the site. Our English-speaking driver will take you along the Desert Highway to Wadi Rum, Depending on road conditions the drive will last a minimum of 3 hours including one stop on the way.

    This unique tour leaves early morning from Amman via the desert highway. Here we board our 4X4 safari, driven by a professional Bedouin driver ( Optional ), and ride to the visitor center in Wadi Rum. From here it's onto Jordan's legendary sandstone area of Wadi Rum. The enchanting Wadi Rum is an area almost surreal in its distinctive beauty. Cross red sand dunes and explore the beautifully eroded pillars of sandstone rock, among the natural attractions, are what have become known as ‘The Seven Pillars'. It was this area of Wadi Rum that so inspired T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Wadi Rums' beauty remains intact and its breathtaking scenery is still an inspiration for those who travel there. Visit the famous spring at ‘Khaza'ali' and the Hanging Arch. We also drive along the rarely visited but equally stunning trails just beside the Saudi Arabian border.

The tour to Wadi Rum from Amman was the best part of an unforgettable trip to Jordan. Our driver Moe was very friendly and was an excellent road trip companion. Wadi Rum turned out to be even more stunning than we expected. The rain actually enhanced our experience even more as the landscape looked even more gorgeous. Special thanks to our jeep tour guide Yahea for making the 4 hour visit to Wadi Rum so memorable.

We were picked up from our hotel in Petra in a nice car and driven to Wadi Rum. Our guide, Yuones, arranged for an SUV desert tour on the way and also helped us add a short trip to the Dead Sea. He stayed with us the whole day and was very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend.

This was a short tour but was able to see enough of Wadi Rum. Our Bedouin guide drove us around in his jeep for about an hour then took us to visit his uncle, who lived in a traditional tent. My husband and I enjoyed sitting around a rock hearth right in the middle of this huge cozy tent drinking traditional sage tea. We then enjoyed listening to some amazing music and singing. This tour was perfect for my husband and I since we did not have a lot of time to spend in Wadi Rum. If you are looking for an adventure packed tour and want to see a lot of Wadi Rum, I would recommend that you book another one of Viator's Wadi Rum tours.
