Chaos getting through passport control. After a short 60 minute flight from Southampton, we then proceeded to queue for 2 hours to get through passport control and exit the airport. Reason given by one of the scarce pink jacketed information people- staff sickness so fewer passport booths were open so they only letting 30 people at a time. Once we got into sight of the passport booths, only 3 were manned for non EU arrivals. There were 2 EU booths and 9 self check in kiosks. Great for in pre Brexit days not so great now when it feels like the whole of Europe is laughing at us.
