Our guides love to tell you their own Amsterdam stories, enhancing your experience while you eat, drink and walk (and boat!) along our canals with friends. Let’s dig into Amsterdam together and explore this historic city in all its glory.
Our 4-hour Amsterdam Food & Canals Tour is a guided walk through the unique cultural and historical sights of Amsterdam; it’s an hour-long, private boat trip through Amsterdam’s world heritage canals; and it’s a substantial meal in the form of a dozen delicious Dutch tastings from plenty of authentic foodie stops along the way – all in one!"

Benardo was our guide and he was brilliant. Really easy to talk to. This tour was a mix of history and culture of amsterdam combined with great food. We loved all the stops and really enjoyed trying different things. The boar tour was the icing on the cake. Really pretty experience. All seamless.

Danielle was a wonderful guide who was able to seamlessly blend history, local custom, and the food altogether for an enjoyable experience.
This tour has a nice blend of sit down offerings and quicker small bites eaten outside.
My favorite was the inclusion of the Kapsalon with its unique (and new) history. Again, this is where Danielle really shined as a guide, explaining not only what we were eating but how it became to be a part of Dutch culture. She also did a wonderful job including the rich immigrant history of The Netherlands in the food scene.
I actually enjoyed starting off the tour with a small sample of apple pie because Danielle explained that in the Netherlands, apple pie isn’t an after dinner dessert! And isn’t that the point of a food tour? To get acquainted with and experience local food and custom?
The communication from the company prior was also 5 stars. It was easy to find the meeting spot, download the ticket, ect.

We love food tours and have taken at least a half a dozen. They are great ways to learn about your destination, its culture, and its food. We did this wonderful tour in Amsterdam that ranks among the top! It lasted four hours, included a boat tour, and involved walking at least 1.5 miles, but it was sublime. Our guide was Togla and if your tour does not have him as your guide, considering cancelling. This tall, dark, handsome, witty, knowledgeable man was superb! He was low key, but gave us a history of Amsterdam and the foods we tried. We sampled apple pie, herring, cheeses, Dutch classics, and fusion versions of Indonesian and Suriname cuisines. We had wines, beers, even water if you wanted it. The hour-long boat ride was especially fun! Skip the touristy boat tours and do this one with your small food group and your fantastic guide!
